The College Fix seeks to hire a fulltime enterprise/investigative reporter for a one-year fellowship that includes an opportunity to work in a virtual office and travel the nation reporting on breaking higher education stories. The job will start in June 2019.
The ideal candidate is a graduating senior or recent college graduate looking to gain journalism experience as a stepping stone into a media career. The position provides flexibility, intense hands-on learning, and invaluable networking opportunities.
The reporter will develop story ideas, write several news stories per week, file public records act requests, travel to campuses across the nation to uncover unique and pressing stories, cover academic conferences, and much more.
