2 days in a row I have landed on this site after linking from another. I am glad to see our college students being active and involved. It does give me some hope for the future. My childrens future and yours. I will be making this site a regular stop. Keep up the good work.

Just finished reading your book Sex and God at Yale. That’s quite an update of William Buckley’s earlier version. I was impressed with your stated outsider’s look at this high ivy. Although I attended a private boarding high school I graduated from a solid state university so I’ve seen a slight bit of both sides. I can understand individuals exploring different ideas of sexuality but for the university to sanction it while the parents pay for it in this economy seems more than a bit much. To parody Hegel’s phrase “It is the night of which all cows are black” I would say it is the night of unsanctioned fraternities or extra curricular programs that exist despite their incomplete acceptance. Anyway, enjoyed your book. Would Kingman Brewster have approved?

Hi Ray,

I don’t think Kingman would have dug the S&M show going on in New Haven these days! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the book.

I love this website! I’ve been addicted to Conservative online media for 17 years and this is one of the best Conservative websites I’ve ever seen. . . great work!

Nathan, get a hair cut, for God’s sake. You look ridiculous.

7 RS February 3, 2013 at 4:16 pm

Nathan,

I read your brief article in Imprimis. I went to college in 1966. I fully intended to get a PhD. But after the slap in the face of lackluster, sloppy, anti-intellectual, Marxist drivel I received in classes, I got out as fast as I could. In fact, at a military ceremony in which the Governor of the midwestern state spoke and of which I was a part, a group of pot smoking, building burning, jackasses broke the armory door down while screaming, “We don’t like this f***in war.” They were referring, of course, to Viet Nam. Several of my fraternity “brothers” were among the protesters. Oh yeah, and they were “friendly” when I walked back into the frat house. All of that stuff back then had nothing to do with self-fulfillment, self-actualization, exploring new ideas, etc., etc. It was an excuse to act selfishly, irresponsibly, lasciviously, and any damnable way they could contrive just to countermand the “establishment.

Many of these radicals melded into American society when they could no longer live the way they had lived in their younger years. They became Wall Street analysts, politicians, college professors, etc. But their Marxist ideas never diminished. It was their way of becoming “king of the hill” and bully their fallacious ideas on the rest of us. The epitome of this was Bill and Hill.

We went from the premier education system in the world to the education system you’ve so eloquently expressed.

Yale has descended from Elihu Yale and Jonathan Edwards to such useless and narcissistic bastards and bitches with no intellectual integrity as we have seen over and over recently.

There are many of us out here who are angry, who have been snubbed over and over again, and who want the truths of the Bible and the ratifiers of the Constitution to be openly taught and respected again. When boors like Kerry, Pelosi, McCain, Frank, et al, are elected over and over, is there any hope for a revival of freedom?

Our destruction is near and deserved.

Does anyone know where I can find a listing of conservative PhD programs? I have spent the last two years in a PhD program at a very liberal university (Duke) and cannot take any more of it. I have been searching the internet for conservative PhD programs but have not come across any for my field of interest. Any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated!

9 Nathan Harden February 18, 2013 at 10:14 pm

Hi Elizabeth. Best approach might be to look for a conservative faculty adviser in your chosen field and ask them to help you identify a program that best fits your interests and goals. They’ll have special knowledge of the programs out there in your field, and they’ll know better than us where to find the right fit. Thanks for the question.

10 Elizabeth February 19, 2013 at 4:11 pm

Thank you for your thoughtful response. A conservative faculty member is hard to find but by being aware of their research interests, reading their publications, and knowing which organizations they have membership, I can get a good idea which way they lean. I wonder if it is worth my while to pursue a PhD. I would like to work at a health policy think tank – would a PhD give me the upper hand to perform better work of disseminating the truth?

Just read my Imprimis. Thank you for clearly speaking to what is hurting our nation. Is your complete address available to read or hear?

Dear LED ZEPPELIN Fans:

I had to perform as 007 Goldfinger (1964) just to have FANS of LED ZEPPELIN.

I had to pay for the above by being Brian Samuel Epstein with THE BEATLES (1962-1966).

I had my own COMMUNICATIONS challenged as THE COOKIE MONSTER in SESAME STREET (1969) which curbs BIG BIRD dope.

I had to advertise LED ZEPPELIN with Camelot (1967) to get a CONDOM BOWL for THE PARKING LOT.

I had to ENGINEER DTE ENERGY MUSIC THEATER (1972) to prove I knew what a PARKING LOT was to then only refer to it as PINE KNOB, THE PARKING LOT.

I had to become SANTA Kris Kringle NYC to CREATE LONDON GB UK PLANET Serengeti to have my own Toys”R”Us to prove I knew THE PARKING LOT had FANS inside of it.

I had to ORCHESTRATE PINK FLOYD to prove I was worthy of even owning my own LED ZEPPELIN RECORDING.

I had to RAINBOW MY TALENT to prove I am not a parasite but an ARTIST in a PSYCHIATRIC WARD named after THE Toys”R”Us LOCATION of which I am THE GENERAL MANAGER.

London ON Canada

I had to become THE OWNER OF CANADA.

MORE BEER!

Sincerely,

Hey, you pieces of shit. You’d better get your editing under control and handle your pathetic excuse for a website before I sue you idiots for libel. Check out your articles on Chris Krumm, and guess what… they’re poorly researched! Like all of your BS articles. But I WILL TAKE YOU DOWN on account of a totally stupid and unverified connection between some horrible murders that my family member committed and the Sandy Hook killings. Prepare to have your asses sued off.

An English professor handed out voter registration information in my daughter’s class yesterday, and used the opportunity to rail against the new voter ID law we have in NC, spouting Leftist talking points. This site is greatly appreciated.

19 CATHERINE November 8, 2013 at 1:08 pm

Thanks for the information about NC professor. Parents of students need to know about this so it should be put on Facebook and sent out on using tweets.

I really enjoy your articles on gun rights and fiscally conservative views (particularly about the ranting bitch who spoke against privatization at Stanford) and I really hate your religious bias.

As a TCU alumni I recall two things about students vs. the TCU administration. .

1. We forced some social changes when we told the administration they were really heading a bigoted and segregated organization that ought to be called Texas Caucasian University (TCU).

2. What we could not change was that the following ditty is still obviously true, at least of the administration:
TCU!
TCU!

Where the girls are girls,
And the boys are too.

Their over-priced and under-desirable educational system caused me to leave, and I soon graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington (with a straight 4.0). This move prepared me for a highly successful aviation career; no thanks to TCU.

Incredible news: University of South Carolina president Harris Pastides is refusing to comply with a state law that requires all public universities to teach students about America’s founding documents, including the Constitution, calling it “archaic.” Why doesn’t SC fire the bum immediately? He’s breaking state law!!

34 Lee September 3, 2014 at 7:22 am

There is a problem in the comments sections of some articles. I saw this again today when I read the article on Ivy League Students Blame Captiolism, and the comments were for an article about the UCSB prof who attacked the the girl. Last week, another article I read at the College Fix did the same thing–the article was completely unrelated to the UCSB person who attacked the demonstrator.

This is a good site with interesting articles. I hate to see the technical glitches mar it. I hope you can fix it.

35 Lee September 3, 2014 at 7:23 am

Yep. Just went to the article on online classes–still, the same comments about the UCSB prof…

Thanks!

This article about Vassar College is difficult to believe. I attended in 1978 and students were apathetic about politics. Most were moderate in their views. Freshmen were not versed in radical politics. Academic exposure to Marxist views, if anything, inoculated them against extremist views in maturity,
