Youth Unemployement at 16.1%

The effective unemployment rate for 18-29 year olds is 16.1%, according to the latest numbers released by the  U.S. Department of Labor.

The conservative youth advocacy group, Generation Opportunity, took the opportunity to criticize the Obama administration’s economic policies:

“Looks like another bad month for young people. Last week we learned from Gallup that only 43.6% of 18-29 year olds are employed full-time and now we have another Millennial Jobs Report showing roughly 1 in 6 18-29 year olds are out of work entirely.

“This jobs report shows that Obamacare and other ‘solutions’ coming from Washington are scaring off employers from hiring…”

The effective unemployment rate takes into account the declining labor participation rate, which includes 1.8 million young people who have given up looking for work.

Youth voted for Obama. Twice. Don’t expect much sympathy from the rest of us.

Bwahahahahahahahah! Couldn’t have happened to a more deserving generation.

Obama: “In five days, we are going to fun-da-mentally change the United States of America”

Youth of America, now at 16%

    unemployment and living in Mom’s

    basement because Obama

    fundamentally changed the

    greatest economic engine
the world has known: “Yayyyyyyyyyy! We love you Obama. We love change because…well…uh….because….whatever!”

It’s what you voted for so stew in it. I have no sympathy. BTW, my 25-year old is well employed. He didn’t vote for Obama either time. I wonder if there’s a correlation?

Black youth unemployment at 41.6% and ….

A record 21.6 million young adults in America were living in their parents in 2012, according to a new Pew Research Center poll on the so-called millennial generation.

It’s the highest number in at least four decades in the United States.

    I voted for obama 3 times. I don’t need a job.

Well just become an artist or photographer or a writer. After all, former house speaker Nancy Pelosi said you could even quit your job to peruse your dreams carefree thanks to the Affordable Health Care Act, so who needs a job.

For any young people that did not vote for obama, and are still living in their parents basement, you have my sympathy, but you need to set the rest of your generation straight. For any young people that did vote for obama, and are still living in their parents basement, you made your bed, lie in it, slacker.
