BREAKING: Two people stabbed at Tufts University

A “non-random” attack this morning at the Tuft’s chapter of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity has put two people in the hospital.

The victims are “not affiliated with the university,” and the suspect(s) remain at large.

The Blaze reports:

The harrowing words came at 5 a.m. on Sunday morning: “Seek shelter immediately. Go to a room, lock door, stay away from windows.”

Two people had been stabbed on campus.

The directive, tweeted by Tufts University, was lifted around 8 a.m. EDT as the university was searched and the pair of stabbings was deemed to be “non-random,” WBZ-TV reported.

WBZ noted that Tufts’ commencement took place on May 17, so it’s unclear how many students were still on campus when the lockdown order went into effect.
