Poll: Congress Less Popular Than Cockroaches

The United States Congress, which created and then saved us from the so-called fiscal cliff, among other great achievements, has set a new low in favorability ratings, reaching single digits for the first time in history.

According to a new poll, almost everything is more popular than Congress:

Head lice, replacement referees and root canals are just a few of the things that are more popular than our leaders in Washington, D.C., according to the newest poll from Public Policy Polling.

Congress has an approval rating of only 9 percent, the lowest in American history.

Even a band people love to hate, Nickelback, is viewed more favorably than the people making decisions on Capitol Hill.
