Muslim student stopped by Secret Service at Trump rally has also heckled pro-life professor

Last month we reported on the curious case of Nada Merghani, a self-described LGBT Muslim social-justice activist at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington, who got confronted by Secret Service agents when she went to a Donald Trump rally.

She had publicly written “Y’all are not prepared for what I’m about to do” before the rally.

UNCW Prof. Mike Adams, a loud and proud social conservative who (like Merghani) has sued the school for wronging him, says he could have told the Secret Service she was no threat – just an attention hog.

In a column for The Daily Wire, Adams extensively cites our reporting and reveals his own experiences with Merghani:

When I first encountered Merghani at a pro-life event on our campus she stood in front of our display for hours on end yelling at the top of her lungs at every passerby [possibly referring to this incident]. This was clearly an effort to abort our conversations about abortion. It is my opinion that the condition this confused pro-choice anti-free speech Muslim crusader suffers from is nothing more than attention deficit disorder, or ADD. By ADD, I simply mean a condition manifesting itself in compulsive conduct meant to draw attention toward oneself at all times.

Merghani’s main threat is trying to “fit into as many victim categories as possible,” Adams said, noting she founded the Muslim Student Association at UNCW and previously led its LGBT group:

In my view, she simply lacks the intellectual coherence to form any sort of rational plan – including, but not limited to, killing a presidential candidate. She comes across sort of like Squeaky Fromme minus the handgun and resolve.

(For you millennials, here’s what Squeaky Fromme almost did.)

Adams thinks UNCW has given its students the tools to sue it:

Teach your students that they have a “right to be unoffended” and unlimited access to “safe zones” and this is what you get.

Despite what the diversity proponents tell you, all ideas are not equal. Some are more dangerous than others. Thankfully, the chickens of diversity appear to be coming home to roost.
