A conference on the crisis in American education recently took place at Franciscan University of Steubenville, a conservative Catholic institution.
It allowed conservative voices to speak without being shouted down, without bricks thrown or fires lit.
Instead, a bunch of scholars got together to talk about conservative critiques of universities’ progressive policies unimpeded.
