Robby Soave of The Daily Caller reports:

The culprit responsible for writing a weird message all over Michigan State University’s campus is … the student government.

A spokesperson for the Associated Students of MSU admitted that the group had  written “#WTF MSU” in chalk all over campus.

The group denied responsibility for the more serious act of vandalism, however. Unidentified persons have been writing the same message all over campus–with spray paint instead of chalk, according to The State News.

…The WTF MSU campaign is intended to motivate students to voice their complaints about aspects of campus life, so that the student government can find solutions to common problems.

Here’s a problem they can tackle: campus graffiti.
