Eric Owens reports for the Daily Caller on the outrage of numerous academic liberals after news of the Koch brothers’ latest donation became public:
Marybeth Gasman, a higher education professor at the University of Pennsylvania claimed that the UNCF – a charitable organization dedicated to helping black people get college degrees – is “wrong” to accept this particular $25 million to help black people get college degrees, according to Inside Higher Ed.
Owens also reports that numerous liberals took to Twitter to express their rage after the donation was announced.
The $25 million donation will fund thousands of scholarship for African-American students, and part of the funds will also go to assist several historically black colleges with their general budgets.
Charles and David Koch are known for their many gifts to conservative foundations and causes. Apparently, some liberals believe it would be better to let African-American students fail to gain a college degree than to take money from the Koch brothers, whom they obviously hate beyond all reason.
