The Daily Caller is reporting on the Republican-hating internet ramblings of professor Robert A. Thurman. Thurman teaches Ind0-Tibetan studies at Columbia University, and he happens to be the father of actress Uma Thurman.
A couple of weeks ago, the professor posted a bizarre YouTube video, calling on American voters to “rise up” and impeach Republican congressmen because they refuse to raise taxes.
Thurman thinks Republicans should be impeached because they refuse to confiscate more and more of Americans’ hard-earned paychecks. That makes perfect sense because we all know American workers don’t deserve to keep the money they earn unless the government let’s you keep it; and besides, by right, every penny you earn belongs to Barack Obama and the Democratic party.
The confused-looking Thurman even manages to introduce “Satan,” “666,” and “the mark of the beast” into his discussion of our nation’s tax structure. Yes, he teaches in the Ivy League.
It’s our opinion that the average professor of Ind-Tibetan studies knows very little about economics. If you watch much of the video, we think you’ll come to share our opinion.
