‘Sexiest Man Alive’ Can’t Woo Millennials To Obamacare
The White House has lassoed a bunch of hip Hollywood stars to try and convince young people to sign up for the Affordable Care Act.
Pop singer Adam Levine – People magazine’s 2013 Sexiest Man Alive – is among the celebrities tapped for the social media campaign that kicked off Friday, as well as Wilmer Valderrama of “That 70s Show,” Fran Drescher of “The Nanny,” and actor Kal Penn of the “Harold and Kumar” movie series, among others.
But the Obama administration’s marketing ploy is akin to putting lipstick on a pig, and young people are way too smart for that.
Perhaps one of the best commentaries on the new campaign came from Fox News Channel’s “The Five,” which broke down the development in a funny, fact-filled clip. Click here to view.
