Smoking Causes Erectile Dysfunction, Surgeon General Says

The US Surgeon General has determined that smoking cigarettes can cause erectile dysfunction in men.

As if lung cancer were not bad enough…

The conclusion resulted from a broad review of scientific literature by acting Surgeon General, Dr Boris D Lushniak.

In a new report Lushniak has significantly broadened the number of diseases and health problems that the government officially associates with smoking, adding diabetes, colorectal and liver cancers, erectile dysfunction and ectopic pregnancy to the list of hazzards, alongside lung cancer and heart disease.

Dr Robert Wallace, a professor of epidemiology and internal medicine at the University of Iowa, who helped review the report, according to the Financial Express, called the scientific research behind the Surgeon General’s report “very well done and up to date.”
