Students Can’t Stop Messing With Their Smart Phones During Class

“The typical college student plays with his or her digital device an average of 11 times a day while in class,” the University of Nebraska-Lincoln reports.

The data comes by way of a newly released study done by a UNL professor who surveyed nearly 800 students at six universities in five states about how often they use digital devices such as smart phones in class for non-instructional reasons.
