Sophia Martinson is a culture writer based in northern Virginia. As a 2017 summer College Fix journalism fellow, she worked at USA Today. She is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, where she worked as writer, managing editor, and editor-in-chief for the Irish Rover independent student newspaper. She then worked as an editorial assistant at The Weekly Standard and as a research assistant in education policy at the American Enterprise Institute in Washington, DC. Her work has appeared in USA Today, Angelus News, Verily, Mercator, The New Criterion, The Washington Examiner, and Theology of Home.
