UCSB Feminist Professor Pleads Not Guilty to Assault on Prolife Teen

Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust has put out a statement in the wake of a not-guilty plea from a University of California-Santa Barbara feminist studies professor who allegedly assaulted a pro-life teenage activist on campus and was subsequently charged with criminal battery.

The prolife group demanded an apology after the April 4 plea and is promoting a petition to get the professor fired. Its statement reads:

Professor Mireille Miller-Young, through her attorney, pled not guilty to the charges of theft, assault, and vandalism today. Exactly one month ago, (she) … stole property from and assaulted youth activists at UC Santa Barbara. Miller-Young did not appear at her own arraignment. Miller-Young has not spoken up to defend her actions or to apologize for rudely and violently interrupting the peaceful conversations that the pro-life students were holding. The university has also remained deafeningly silent regarding Miller-Young’s actions. Now, a month has passed since Miller-Young was caught on video assaulting a young pro-life activist. We demand an apology.
