Students need somewhere to get sloshed together. So what if your campus doesn’t have even a single bar?

Enter St. Mary’s University alumni couple Tom and Leti Contreras, who “are donating nearly $1 million to build a bar” on the small San Antonio liberal arts campus, much like the now-shuttered one where they met in the 1980s, The Associated Press reports:

Construction is set to begin this fall. Preliminary plans call for a 1,200-square-foot bar with TVs and a stage for live music.

The new pub is scheduled to open next year.
