The Washington Post has posted a nifty slideshow entitled “Five things you didn’t know about Ted Cruz.”
For instance, you didn’t know that Cruz’s father was a Cuban immigrant who came to the U.S. with $100 sewn into his underwear.
Boxers or briefs? The slideshow doesn’t say. Nevertheless, I do love a good old fashioned American-immigrant’s-son-makes-good story. And, politically, this Cruz fellow looks like the real deal. Looking forward to seeing what he does in the Senate.
