College Fix Assistant Editor Dave Huber joined Steel on Steel News Radio on June 15 to discuss the controversy surrounding New York City schools’ efforts to dismantle “white supremacy.”
Masterminded by Chancellor Richard Carranza, teacher and administrator workshops — which are based on critical race theory — have taught that white supremacy includes things such as a “sense of urgency,” “quantity over quality,” and “perfectionism,” and that emphasis on the written word overlooks the “ability to relate to others.”
The city district faces a lawsuit which accuses Carranza’s racial “reorganizations” of discriminating against whites.
