The College Fix seeks to train a new generation of freedom-loving journalists who provide original news and insights on American higher education.
While we welcome the advent of artificial intelligence as a tool of research, we teach students how to write and think without AI. Everything we publish will flow from human knowledge, creativity, and curiosity. We invest our time and resources in people, not machines.
We will use AI to assist with gathering and analyzing information. We will let it suggest ideas. We will allow it to check spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
We will never use it as an unverified source or a final authority on anything. We will not let it think for us. Nothing can replace discerning journalists who ask hard questions in a search for truth.
We present true stories by humans, for humans.
