University Pays $4000 to Display Nude Images of Transexuals

Campus Reform reports that the University of Minnesota – Duluth will pay transsexual activist Loren Cameron an honorarium of $4,000 for his presentation “Transgender Images,” which features graphic images meant to “demystify” transsexual bodies.

Cameron’s website, which also displays explicit images, says the purpose of his photography is to “provide an affirming visual resource for transgendered people and to demystify the transsexual body for the non-transgendered viewer.

“Currently, new works are in progress: self-portrait nude studies, transgenders and partners nudes and portraits and nudes of transsexual women and men,” reads Cameron’s bio on his website. “His documentation of surgical options for transmen (female-to-male) is ongoing.”

University officials also refused to comment on how the presentation is educational to the student body or provide further details on the event.
