Irate Hillary Clinton supporters yell at conservative college students, ‘go back to the dark ages’ (VIDEO)

Young people protesting Hillary Clinton’s recent campaign stop at Broward College in Florida got quite an earful from a handful of die-hard Clinton supporters who were none too pleased by the demonstration.

About 12 college students and members of the Florida Federation of Young Republicans held signs with phrases such as “Hill NO,” “NOT MY KIND OF FEMINISM,” “Liar, Liar, Pantsuit on Fire” and “Remember Benghazi” as they stood behind a barricade erected by campus security.

As attendees of Clinton’s speech left the premises and encountered the young Republicans, most did nothing – but there were several who got very animated, according to video of the demonstration obtained by The College Fix.

One man tried to jump the barricade, it’s unclear what his intentions were, he did not make it over. A female retiree yelled passionately at the top of her lungs “take your signs and burn them – burn them – you teeny tots! Teeny Teeny tots!” A third, older man demanded at the young people “how much are you getting paid, who is paying you, who made those signs?!” and then lectured the students that “the free market is not going to do anything for you.” Another female screamed: “Go back to the dark ages! How could you be a woman?”

Lauren Cooley, a grad student at University of Miami and a member of the Broward Young Republicans, told The College Fix one of the protesters – the one who yelled “who paid you?!” at the group – eventually came around the barricade to finish his lecture.

“[He] kept talking in my ear, insisting that my grad school at University of Miami – which is private – is paid for by the government,” Cooley said. “It was pretty insulting because I’m paying for my grad school on my own, with my hard earned money, one class at a time in order to stay out of debt.”

“He then said that I get scholarships from the government, at which point I told him I don’t get scholarships because I’m white,” she added. “He said I was being racist, and I told him it was called affirmative action, which was created by the Democratic party.”

Other moments not captured by cell phone footage included a lady carrying a Hillary Clinton voodoo doll, and another gal walking out of the event with toilet paper hanging out of her pants, Cooley said.

“One of the young women who I was protesting with told her because she thought it was an accident,” she said. “The lady screamed back at us that it was a feminist statement. … It was an eclectic crowd.”

At one point campus security told the students to leave campus, but the demonstrators informed the officer they were on public property and were allowed to be there. Security backed down.
