Catholic Nun Sparks Protest With School Talk on Homosexuality

The Tennessean reports that a Catholic nun who also works as a professor at Aquinas University sparked a student protest after she shared the church’s teaching on homosexuality with a group of students:

Sister Jane Dominic Laurel, an assistant professor of theology at Aquinas University, gave a talk to students at Charlotte Catholic High School on March 21. About half of the one-hour talk centered on homosexuality, according to a statement from the Diocese of Charlotte’s official newspaper.

In an online video of a talk with the same title, Laurel says a poor relationship with a parent, sexual abuse, masturbation or pornography could lead to same-sex attraction…
