Video shows individual removing, throwing materials from conservative student group’s table

Oklahoma State University confirmed Friday that charges are pending against an individual who was caught on video trashing a Young America’s Foundation display earlier this week on campus.

The display included a large sign that read, “Marriage = 1 man + 1 woman.”

“The OSU Police Department has investigated the incident, and charges are pending,” the university stated Friday in an email to The College Fix through spokesperson Mack Burke.

“Oklahoma State University supports the rights of student groups to express their opinions and speak freely,” the university stated.

In the video posted Thursday by Libs of TikTok, an individual can be seen removing materials from the Oklahoma State YAF chapter’s display table. The individual throws the materials into the air across the lawn and then swipes other materials off the table and onto the ground.

Meanwhile, conservative students urge the individual to stop, saying the actions amount to “stealing” and “littering.”

After bringing up free speech and censorship, one YAF student tells the individual, “Hey, Jesus loves you anyway and I hope you come to your senses and will realize we can have a conversation without you throwing our stuff away.”

“I can’t have a conversation with people who don’t think I deserve rights. You don’t deserve a conversation,” the individual replies.

The YAF chapter wrote Thursday that it filed a police report and plans to press charges.

This was not the first hostile incident the conservative student group reported this semester.

Last week, Oklahoma State YAF posted photos on X showing vandalism of several of its posters and a note that read, “F— off homophobe.”

“Our activism this semester has garnered a lot of attention!” the group wrote on X. “The Left on campus has disagreed vehemently with the FACT that marriage is between one man and one woman. We will continue to fight for this fundamental truth, and we will not back down.”

Other conservative student groups have reported similar incidents this fall.

An Illinois State University graduate teaching assistant was fired this month after overturning a Turning Point USA table on campus. The former employee was later arrested for posts allegedly threatening President Donald Trump’s life, The College Fix reported.

Another Turning Point USA chapter at Fort Lewis College in Colorado also reported several posters being vandalized, The Fix reported.

And earlier this month, University of Oklahoma police launched an investigation into the theft of signs advertising a campus Turning Point USA event with Gov. Kevin Stitt and actor Russell Brand, according to a Fix report at the time.
