VIDEO: U. Washington leftist brazenly tears down posters advertising conservative event

A University of Washington student was caught red-handed tearing down posters advertising a College Republicans event which features two prominent conservative voices.

October 18’s “Campus Clash” will highlight Turning Point USA’s Charlie Kirk and Candace Owens, and this past Friday a student apparently thought it within his “free speech rights” to remove and then trash event fliers.

“Uh, hey bud! You got a problem with our posters?” two approaching members of the College Republicans ask the unidentified vandal in a video confrontation.

The vandal simply replies “yes,” and from there on pretty much ignores the CRs, mostly mumbling incomprehensibly here and there:

“Well, ‘ya can’t talk about your own problems with it [the posters],” one CR replies. “That’s not very nice,” says the other CR. “I’d at least like a reason why you’re tearin’ ’em down, bud.”

“Why record me?” the vandal queries.

“Well, because you’re tearing down our posters, bud. That’s not very cool. That’s cash money!” the CRs reply.

The vandal simply continues removing the advertisements.

In an email statement, the UW College Republicans said “Unfortunately, this kind of action is common at UW. Many on the left find it perfectly acceptable to silence dissenting speech and destruction of property is hardly an obstacle to them.”
