Monday night, SFPA contributor and Daily Iowan columnist Zach Wahls spoke about his family at a Iowa House of Representatives hearing on the constitutional ban on gay marriage.
The video has since gone ludicrously viral, with links from Ellen DeGeneres among others. Zach will be on MSNBC with one of his parents tonight, as well. Zach’s clearly very talented, but he’s also a good guy (and a Packers fan), so this is especially cool.
Also on Monday, in less heralded news, Zach wrote about net neutrality — that old barn burner of a topic — for this very website. Unsurprisingly, it’s a good column, and explains why Egypt should serve as a cautionary tale for net neutrality fans.
