Ashley Dowdney is a Journalism Excellence Fellow with The Fund for American Studies. A Summer 2026 College Fix Fellow, she worked at The Dispatch. Previously, she interned at the Hudson Institute and the American Enterprise Institute. She is a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, where she studied classics as well as peace, war, and defense.
