Republican presidential primary contender Rick Santorum criticized President Barack Obama for saying that all people should be college educated. According to Santorum:
“I have seven kids. Maybe they’ll all go to college. But if one of my kids wants to go and be an auto mechanic, good for him! That’s a good-paying job.”
Inside Higher Ed and the Wall Street Journal note that this is a rare position for a politician to take.
